Mosesfield House - Old Men's Club

Harry many thanks for adding this to the Video Section, what an absolute gem, just wish it could have been longer. The stories these old boys must have would keep this site going for years.I didn't realise that the club was still active, if I was up there I'd hand in a bit tin of biscuits for their tea. Enjoyed too the views round the park in particular the old toilet building at the pond, that brought back some stark memories, lol.Bunty Do you find this valuable?

I agree what a treat to watch and listen. The park was our beacon as kids. The hothouse was a wonder to us with the heat and exotic plants. I now know why my wee sister said I wouldn't recognise my home town. I will keep the memories of how I remember my Springburn and not what has happened.Thank goodness for this site and the people who thought the same as me.Do you find this valuable? |

Harry enjoyed this another wee trip down memory lane. Think the museum was however still in vogue throughout the early 50's as I clearly remember going in there on many a wet day. And Bunty if I were up there I would almost certainly enjoy scoffing one of your biscuits. K enny
