"I can only dimly remember this as a sweet shop. Correct me if I am wrong, but it was a pretty rough area by the time the off-licence was there. My brother in law is from a wee place outside Edinburgh, as well as having pretensions. Unbeknowest to us until afterwards, he had went to that off-licence and asked the guy behind the counter if he could recommend a nice wine. He was laughed out the store, all they sold was bucky and Elderado. "
