Mar 7 2008, 3:20 PM EST "Oh' Jing's Bunty,am putting all my radical posters and placard's left from the 60s back in the closet!"Just keep the 'heid' WF,lol. Had to look that one up as all theeasier(ahem) questions were answered by yourself and Norrie..got another couple here... Questin 11. Portraits were William Wallace, Robert the Bruce,Walter Scott..the panels just a guess, steamships or locomotives. Question 10. John Carrick I think was an architect. Did he design the Public baths and that's why he'd a street named after him.. Question 16. i always thought the Oddfellows were a society like the Masons but made up of Tradespeople and did good cahrity work for the poor. Would their hall have been in Vulcan St. Question 14 Sounds like something to do with the railway. Question 8. Mosesfiled House in Springburn park was also a museum but I don't know if this was the first in Springburn. Question 7 . Balgrayhill Pleasure park. That's my brain finished...hard quiz that. Hope Steve still has the answers. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
