Since joining this site almost 2 yrs ago, I'm amazed how many people i've met and actually feel i know, so it should come as no surprise when I say how nice it would be to meet
in person. Robert Stewart (rstewart) has sent me information regarding an afternoon sail on September 4th 2011 aboard Canada's largest sailing ship 'THE EMPIRE SANDY'. boarding at Spadina Pier, Lower Spadina Ave & Queen's Quay West, Toronto @ 2-2.20pm lasting over 2hrs. The Scottish Club of St Catharines have ordered 54 tickets, enough to fill a coach. It should be a fun day, with lots of tartan on display...dancers..pipes & drums...fiddlers and accordion music......good Scottish food, with a bar (of course). As luck would have it, the Air Show is the same day....2 events for the price of one. I suggested to Robert this would be an opportunity for us expats to get together to which he agreed. We could post some photos. Anyone from the Niagara area is more than welcome to join our group on the coach, we plan to have dinner at The Spagetti Factory in Toronto before returning home. Hope you like this idea.
