my grannie n papa lived in 12 cowlairs rd above the fish shop,my uncle Maxi McBeth also lived above us,my grannie n papa were called Hoatson , Son Sam and Daughter Jackie (inglis)who went to Nan Keelings dancing in the co-op building Kemp street and still has the Jackie Inglis School of Dancing,
(this was in Barmulloch Quarrywood Halls for years)we played in the High backs above the co-op behind Colwlairs,Kemp,Angus and Springburn rd great days my pals then were Eric Smith now in Cumbernauld,
my grannie moved from Cowlairs rd around 1973/4 but her house is still there although the close is blocked off and the high backs gone so u enter the close from the rear now,anybody else from Colwlairs or remember my family,Junior Inglis
