In my old primary school named Elmvale as a school cleaner to earn quick finances alonside of another 2 jobs elsewhere,I believe we at some time or another can end up working in or around the places we started off in,I saw being a cleaner for a few months in my old primary school as a time for reflection & reminicing before I left the country for Australia,I saw it was a useful stepping stone emotionaly & financialy to lead me to sunny australia in the yr 1990

I worked in Hoeys from Easter 1955 when I left Albert School until August of that year as I had taken the 'Corporation Exam' and they did not take new staff until August. I worked in the Haberdashery and Millinary Depts often attending to ladies who came in to try on hats until the rain wnet off.
