Thanks for the latest pics, Jim. I well remember the Ashfield but it was greyhound racing when I used to serve up pies and Bovril from the old train wagon...not sure where it was situated. That woud have been around 1958/9. I wore my hair really short then and wore black and some of the old punters used to come up and say " A pie and a Bovril, son" There was me just a lass of 15 as well,lol.

Great pictures I can see my church up the Balgaryhill and oh my goodness the steamie we went there every Friday me and my sister's what a good laugh we had there meeting up with everybody thank's for the memories.
