Old Films of Springburn
These 8mmm classics are very poor quality due in part to youtube compression..but they show the park, and the BB in Gourlay street
in 1953.
Again, the encoding has made a por job of this movie, but various scenes from around Springburn in 1969 (J McG)

What a wonderful surprise to see springburn park and the people lovely flowers and plants brought back many memories when I was a wee lassie especially the pond and the wee lassie dipping her feet in. The BB was terrific and it just took me back to those days Thankyou so much

I remember John Thomas taking the film of the BB football Match at Cowlairs Park.Names of some other team members that I remember,Alec Brown,George Tosh, Robert McEnneny,Sandy sherrif,Frankie LoganJim Tosh.alsoBB Parade formed up outside my close 182 Gourlay St.
