Lived in Townhead until 1949 when we were rehoused to Broomton Road, Auchinairn end of the new Balornock scheme.
Attended Kennedy Street School (P1) then Elmvale 1949-55 and Albert 1955-60
Have lived in Glasgow ,Buckie and for the past 45years,Banff
Heard about the site through Robert Irvine who went to Elmvale and Albert with me -thanks Prof!

Hi All, Would dearly like to get in touch with anyone who lived in or around the Northcroft rd, Wellfield st, Lenzie st, Reidhouse st. areas of springburn. I was born in 1954 grew up in the mentioned areas, went to St aloysuis in Elmvale st, then on to St Aloysuis Hillkirk st, then moved to Sighthill area. If theres anyone who lived around the areas and can drop any names who knows then who we pick up on after all those years.
