VIDEO of THE ELDERLY GENTLEMENS CLUB .
I came across this by chance and having had the pleasure some 18 months ago of meeting Ronnie Gray and his wife who invited me into their house where they spent the next 2 hours regaling me with the history of the building I thought that the video, which has been made since that time, deserved to be shared on this site.It expresses most of what he told me at the time in a much more potent way than I could have ever done.Hopefully it will be of interest to a lot of our posters.
I also spent some time with some of the members and if anybody wants to hear about how Springburn used to be I doubt there is a better source of information available anywhere.
Some of you guys are eligible for membership and you'll hear directly from at least one of the guys featured that you'd be welcomed.
Enjoy and discuss.

Harry many thanks for adding this to the Video Section, what an absolute gem, just wish it could have been longer. The stories these old boys must have would keep this site going for years.I didn't realise that the club was still active, if I was up there I'd hand in a bit tin of biscuits for their tea. Enjoyed too the views round the park in particular the old toilet building at the pond, that brought back some stark memories, lol.
