Attended a local wedding yesterday (Banff North East Scotland) Got chatting with the minister who conducted the ceremony - turned out he was from Crowhill Road in Auchinairn(I lived in Broomton Road at the top of Auchinairn Road !He was a former Albert pupil like myself,f who has retired to this area. His wife also attended Albert and hailed from Springburn Road. Had a great chat about the area and discovered his older Brother had been in my class at school-coincidences are so common now as I get older, but continue to surprise !

Update on Weather.... here in the heart of Texas......
Yesterday we were at 85 degrees.... last night around 4/5 pm... USA Central time... the wind picked up... I was out...and felt the sudden change.... by about 6 pm..the rain began...turned to sleet and ice.. solid ice on the decks..by..11pm... woke up at 4:00 am.... with all decks covered with snow...... ice/snow..nasty combination.... slippery... and unusual here in the "Hill Country".... saw snow only one other time...but, we were iced in...for 5 days..two years ago... but, that was in January..... today...in the 50's...blue sky... pretty...and the snow is finally melting....... very weird for this time of year...

Any of our members see themselves or friends attending the childrens theatre group in the Co-op Halls sometime in the 1950's? Photograph taken from the Evening Times.
