The photograph 1955 of our class group (Mrs Grace) was as said, printed in the Evening Citizen. Written underneath the photo is that it was taken for a special occasion. I am almost certain it was a choir photograph we all sang at St Andrew's Hall in a huge competition and we did very well I am sure we were second! I think the teacher was Miss Horne, we all loved her and she was engaged to be married. The night we sang her fiance stood in the wings grinning at us and giving us courage. We sang two songs one was "All in an April evening" and another lighthearted one can't remember the name. I still remember all the words of April evening.
