This was Avonspark street today the house I was looking for 201 is no longer there it would have been the next house after the one shown Sorry Lewscot
The house would have been like this one 4 in a block it would have been downstairs and the front door the side the door facing the street is for the upstairs house sorry I got it wrong.the house shown is nos 193,195,197,199 I checked my notes sorry again for confusing anyone.
The house to the left on the ground floor is No167 the front door is to the side of the house , the houses had two bedrooms, living room, kitchen and bathroom
and they had a bit of garden to the front and back. The kitchen was quite well equipped it had a gas boiler two big deep porcelin sinks, a range for cooking and good cupboard space. the bathroom was a reasonabel size with wc, washand basin and full length bath, the living room was good size with one of the bedrooms off it. The other bedroom was off the hall with the bathroom next door, there was a big cupboard in the hall and the living room. Thats about all I can tell you Lewscott hope it helps to let you get the feel of the place

Many thanks for the photos Jim, I'm sure Lewscot will find it useful to see what sort of housing there was in the street . Although the number 201 is no longer there, next door is. I did notice when I was up in Glasgow last year that the corporation must have been painting nearly every house in the city. looked very nice I must admit...particularly down in the Ruchill area.
