I wopnder if you are the son of Seth Sykes who lived at Springburn Road, and wrote gospel songs. If you are I have very fond memories of your mother and father, and also your step-sister I was a Gospel singer and sang many of your father's beautiful hymns. It would be good to hear from you.

I am indeed the son of Seth Sykes who wrote many Gospel Songs with my mother.
My sister Eva & I were brought up at 363 Springburn Road and I have fond memories of those early days now so long ago.
My sister Eva still lives in Glasgow with her husband and I am now a retired GP living in Lincolnshire but still involved in ministry of both word and song with my wife Catherine.
Sadly my three step-sisters are now with The Lord. Was it Betty you knew ? Her husband Bill is still alive.
